[MC-223640] Endermans don't fight back when I hit them and calm down a while after looking them in the eye

I'm not sure which version happens, but I suppose that at 1.16, when I play minecraft, the endermans don't attack me when I hit them, only when I look him in the eye, but he stops afterwards, I think it might be my skin with black details and purple with purple eyes too, but I don't know if it just happens to me, if this is truly a bug or a esteregg I want an answer, because that seems interesting even. (no imgs)
