I'm trying to play with my friends modpack using forge like i always do but for some reason it wouldn't even let me open minecraft.

It's probably the mod's fault, not the game's fault.

You seem to be using a non-vanilla client. Try replicating the bug with a vanilla client.

This bug tracker is for bugs with Minecraft, not bugs with Forge.
