The item bar cannot be displayed

What I expected to happen was...:
You can display the item bar.

What actually happened was...:
The item bar cannot be displayed

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Bystander mode flying into the box
2. Switch from spectator mode to creative mode
3. Cannot display inventory after stuck dead

Not F2, but F1. F2 will take a screenshot; F1 toggles hud display.

Are you on a laptop? If so, you might need to press FN+F3 in order to resolve this issue. If not, please provide a screenshot of this problem.
