If you select text on a sign, that selected area will blinks along with the text cursor.
This problem started in 21w10a, before it didn't blink.
Steps to Reproduce:
Place a sign
Write something
Hold shift and use the left or right arrow to select what you wrote
You will see that the selected area blinks
