Bucket of Axolotl only spawns pink Axolotl

Upon selecting bucket of Axolotl from the creative menu and using it, a pink Axolotl will always spawn. However, picking up a different colored Axolotl will change it to that certain color. Shouldn't the bucket of Axolotl be randomized just like the Axolotl spawn egg.
