Entities not affected by nether portal

Entities are unaffected by nether portals where in previous versions of the game they would be transported to the nether.

 

More information: after looking into it more, entities were only affected by the portal after the player had gone through.

Did you enter the portal before attempting to make entities go through in it?

No but in previous versions I didn't have to go through the portal to get them through.

Edit: Just tested it in the snapshot and now entities go through the portal
