Cat's try to path find to bed but stay in one spot

So my cat's always stay in one spot, and they never leave that one spot. I'm assuming that they are trying to reach a bed that they can't reach. In my survival world, the situation look's like the picture shown.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Place a bed underground and bury it so you cant reach it without breaking blocks.

2. Spawn a tamed cat above the buried bed.
