While testing out Datapack stuff I noticed that if I set the Health of a dropped item to a large number or set the Invulnerable NBT tag to 1 or True, an item "killed" by a Cactus would turn invisible but still remain in-game.
In the video I have attached I:
Killed all Items in-game
Tossed a Netherite Ingot with the Invulnerable NBT set to true into the Cactus
Ran the Data command to get the data associated with the item to show it still existed
Walked into the Cactus which made me pick the ingot back up
