Setting this objective will result in what appears to be tick count being recorded rather than minutes played.
To replicate:
/scoreboard objectives add test minecraft.custom:minecraft.play_one_minute
/scoreboard objectives setdisplay list test
tab to view your user with the value listed next to it increasing very quickly
