Villager throwing infinite food

Farmers villagers keep throwing infinite food to other villagers, leaving a lot of stacks on the ground and killing my fps in the area. Even if other villagers' inventories are full, farmers continue sharing food. In one village they began to share only beetroot and in the other village only potato. I assume they got those crops from other villagers and started to duplicate the crops.

As a temporary solution I removed all the composter and farmers from the villages and I'm keeping the farmers isolated. I limited the number of beds so that they would not continue to reproduce, but even so, the rest of villagers now have their inventories full of beetroot and potato and crops are being passed on from one to another.
