In a survival server, in the nether, a loyalty trident, while revolving around my player due to a lack of empty inventory slots, disappears. Trident was revolving before entering nether and was teleported first, then the player. Trident continues to revolve after entering nether until player head-hitter sprints into a roof and trident is lost as presented in occurrence chronologically, not by causation.
Trident cannot be found in the roof or through nearby portals, relogging, player death, and inventory clearing does not allow the trident to return. To my knowledge, the trident should still be in its "coming back" state and is not able to hit a wall and "get stuck" anywhere as in its "coming back" state, it can go through walls. If the trident exists, its current dimension is uncertain, though leaning to the nether.

Nevermind, active returning tridents turn into ordinary ground items when the player is killed before retrieving the trident. Death does not cause trident disappearance, though, the time this happened in a server before might be a server problem, lag clear and such.
Update after testing: Trident also disappears while revolving due to player death. Perhaps event similar to player death is caused by server.
