When using a dedicated server in a folder on a personal computer a server/world cannot be updated to 1.17 like they used to. When downloaded the minecraft server.jar for version 1.17 and replacing the old one an error in the cmd pops up JNI error or such.
Environment
windows 10 most current java version.

I believe I found out how to fix this issue, the newer version requires java SE development kit 16 rather than plain java 64
