Character keep walking for a distance even I stopped pressing the 'WASD' keys

Im playing on a java server and this happend recently and frequently. I released my hand from the keyboard but my character will keep walking on its own for1~1.5 blocks awayfrom the place I left my hand, not staying at the place it should be. This makes me feeling like walking on ice even Im not walking on it. I hope there is a way to fix it.
