Was playing on Minecraft Vanilla 1.17 in Single Player world.
So I’m farming my wheat farm when a skeleton shoots and hits me with an arrow. When I get hit (note I’m standing in the middle of my farm), the wheat seeds in a 5-7 block radius all break (radius shown in 1st image).
When I go to replace the seeds, they don’t wanna place. So I replace the area, still doesnt work. I replace the whole level, still not working. I quit the world and even restart my whole game, both do not work.
In the 9 years of playing Minecraft (Since 2012), I have never heard or seen this before. If anyone knows what’s the problem or has any theory or idea’s to help me. That would be super appreciated.
Best Regards,

The light level is too low there, the crops breaking is due to the fact that the crops were at in invalid location. In 1.16, the light level placing rule wasn't there yet, and when the world updated to 1.17, the crops remained placed. When you trampled the farmland due to the skeleton's shot (I think you did), this caused a block update to the crops, and they noticed that the light level was too low, and broke.
