[MC-229809] Menu koads up very dark, world loads up dark as well

Opening up launcher is normal

once loading into the the world and the menu the world is dark and shadowy.

this occurs in full screen mode, when i exited full screen to take a picture of the issue it immediately stopped.

Does this issue occur outside of Minecraft? If not, do you happen to have any resource packs enabled?

This only happens in minecraft, and I have no shaders or resource packs downloaded

I am unable to reproduce this issue in 1.17.1.

Is this still an issue in 1.17.1?
