[MC-23009] ÆØÅ don't work in 1.6.1 on Mac OS X 10.8

After the 1.6.1 The danish characters Æ, Ø, Å don't work in the chat on Mac OS X 10.8. German characters don't work either.

I have the same problem on my mac after 1.6.1! 😞 I re-installed MC but it still don't work... I hope they fix it!

This problem occurs on 1.6.2, 1.6.3 and all of the snapshots for 1.7 also!
Please fix it guys, this really is freaking annying!

For the purpos of reporting bugs, you should update the affacted versions to 1.6.1, 1.6.2, 1.6.3 and 1.6.4 also all of the 1.7 snapshots havent had this fixed!

Mikkel Caira, this report is a duplicate of MC-20440 and will only be updated there. You should comment there to tell us of any future snapshots/releases that are affected (1.6.3, 1.6.4 and 13w38a have already been added).
