dont know how this happened but i guess snapshots are a way to corrupt ur world

Actually always backup your world before updating to ANY version, as 1.17 release corrupts worlds as well (the geodes aren't supposed to only be able to generate at bedrock level, thus any land generated in 1.17 is ruining the chance of geodes generating where they're supposed to in those chunks).
