translucent blocks invisible

i was playing minecraft then realised slime blocks were invisible. later i saw that all translucent blocks (except normal glass) just look like barrier blocks and are invisible.              https://vimeo.com/568185996 video to see what happens. i have also tried without the resource pack it does not help
