I still had crashes on 1.18 and 1.18.1, but with sometimes different messages. But for me (Ubuntu 20.04) the update of the nvidia-kernel on Feb 7th 2022 to version 510 seems to have resolved the issue. No more crashes! So recommended action from my side would be to update the graphics card driver
I got the same problem since quite some time, already with 1.16
I'm playing ob Ubuntu 20.04, same processor (Ryzen 5 3600) but different graphics card (RT1030)
The crashes appear randomly in time, sometimes i can play an hour, sometimes only few minutes. I found so far no systematic behavior, just that it is always the render thread that crashes. Its not the same block always (also seems random)
Same world works on my Ubuntu Laptop (had it running over night there)
It seems to happen during higher load(e.g. when activating a farm), but randomly also during normal gameplay.
I also tried several Bios options (turn SMT of, idle current of Ryzen etc, nothing worked yet)
I could provide many logs if needed😉
