when try to use a piston to pull a pumpkin a carved pumpkin or jaco lanter it wont move just like obsidian and bedrock but when you place pumpkin right infront of piston and try to move it, it just breaks.

This is indeed WaI, or else farming them wouldn't be as easy.. It is also the case for melon blocks, that you can't pull them like that, and if they get pushed, they fall apart into melon slices.
