In almost any location I try to /locatebiome command for dripstone or lush caves, the teleport location is placed in solid stone, with no sign of the cave type nearby. This is because the biome generates in a very small area, and doesnt seem to be influenced by the cave generation nearby. The /locatebiome command is rendered almost useless when searching for cave types, since the biomes generate so small and in seemingly random locations. The seed I used isΒ 5878384294137336088, but this is not exclusive to this seed.
A similarly related issue caused by this is that cave types may only generate on the ceiling of the cave or on the floor of the cave, leaving strange views. This is not always the case, but is common.
