To perform the bug you must put the spyglass in your secondary hand and hold nothing, after that hold the right button and switch to the crossbow, you will continue to zoom the spyglass and it will fly while you hold the crossbow. With this you can basically make a sniper if the crossbow is already loaded and you quickly exit the spyglass zoom and then shoot with the crossbow.
