Walk and sprint speed is much slower

I have recently played some Hypixel Sky Block, and my main armor is a set that increases walk speed by 50+. Whenever I try and play a normal single-player world, the speed is greatly reduced. Walk speed is equivalent to crouch speed, and sprint speed is slightly faster than walk. Though if I jump and sprint, the speed is normal. A speed 2 potion does put everything back to normal as long as the potion is still active.
