Name tagged mob keeps despawning

I have a name tagged zombie that keeps de spawning. He's in a minecart with armor and an item I dropped for him to pick up and is also name tagged yet he is still continuing to de spawn. He is constantly moving in the minecart and crossing chunk borders so This may have something to do with it. Hopefully it can be resolved
