When you're killing many animals that drop raw meat (rabbits, cows, sheep, etc.) with an fire aspect sword, the ones that are hit by the sweeping effect of the sword (without the need of the sweeping edge enchantment) doesen't burn and doesen't drop cooked meat. In some cases the quantity of raw meat exceeds the cooked meat.

The core issue here is MC-93669. Entities that are attacked indirectly are not ignited when using the fire aspect enchantment, therefore causing them not to drop cooked food upon being killed.
