I was shifted on the edge of a block as a piece of gravel fell onto that block, I was immediately softlocked and I wasn't able to move around or look around whatsoever. Neither rejoining nor restarting the client fixed it. All that is possible for me to do is interacting in the direction I'm forced to look (Placing, Mining, Eating, etc.), opening inventory, and dropping items. I was using Optifine 1.17.1 when the glitch occurred, but going back to normal 1.17.1 didn't change anything and was still softlocked. I recorded a video showing off the glitch, and do note that I was trying to move, look around, and crouch during it.

Your game, launcher or server is modified.
If you can reproduce the issue in a vanilla environment, please recreate the issue.
Any non-standard client/server/launcher build needs to be taken up with the appropriate team, not Mojang.
Any plugin issues need to be addressed to the creator of the plugin or resource pack.
If you have problems on large servers, such as The Hive and Hypixel, please contact them first as they run modified server software.
