"create a copy of your world" isn't working in the launcher

Went to play in the new snapshot today and clicked on "create a copy of the world" but it didn't work, now I had to create a installation in 21w40a so I can play in my world, with the messed chunk borders wherer the new generation begins. It should have created the copy world when clicked.
