With the more updates are being released, the less chunks I'm forced to play with to reduce fps lag that I'm encountering. I have such a powerful PC, but your 1.18 update is just too massive for me and I'm now forced to play with 16-24 chunks instead of 32 and it is absolutely not a great solution because what makes Minecraft feel atmospheric is its render distance.
I seriously don't know what super computers are you expecting us to play with from now on, but I'm shocked that such a good PC can't even handle Minecraft with 32 chunks. I used OptiFine, I don't have shaders enabled, and I've allocated 13 GBs ram for Minecraft. What else am I supposed to do instead of lowering my chunks?! I just want to play with high chunks because it really affects the gameplay both in progress and experience. I bet even if I get a memory of 32 GBs ram, it won't still do a thing.

It isn't just the RAM. GPU and CPU are playing a bigger part in rendering then you think. Can you tell me your specs?
