Stupid thing run out of memory

Hi, so I play hypixel mostly I’m not much of a single player person but like after 3 or so matches of something it kicks me and says Minecraft has run out of memory and that shouldn’t be possible because I don’t use texture packs or shaders or mods all I have is lunar client. I would use 1.17 but it has a glitch where the mouse glides or something. It is not an option for me to use the regular Minecraft launcher because it is so slow on there lunar speeds stuff up. This is killing me and I hate it I am on a mac if that helps, also I don’t have anything else open except 1 tab and that is YouTube so I can listen to music. My computer has 8gb Random Access Memory so I dont think Minecraft should take that much space up. Thanks. Also if you can’t get it fixed I should have a new computer that is better soon I hate apple lol. One more thing this is happening in 1.16.5 but it won’t let me select that in the bug reportSorry and thanks!
