I was in a game with my brother and a friend and all of a sudden when I glide using my elytra, I lose control and can't stop gliding. Only things I can do is look around and jump, but that's it. I tried taking off the elytra and nothing. I tried dying and that didn't work either so I'm at a loss.

It's literally just optifine. All it does is adjust graphics. That's it. It doesn't change anything else. Plus, it's on a vanilla server. Just because I'm using optifine, you're saying this is invalid? That's complete BS.

Your game, launcher or server is modified.
If you can reproduce the issue in a vanilla environment, please recreate the issue.
Any non-standard client/server/launcher build needs to be taken up with the appropriate team, not Mojang.
Any plugin issues need to be addressed to the creator of the plugin or resource pack.
If you have problems on large servers, such as The Hive and Hypixel, please contact them first as they run modified server software.

This report is invalid as your game was modified when experiencing this issue. In the video you've provided, I am able to see connected glass textures and this feature is only possible when running a modified instance of Minecraft. Bug reports are only accepted if the behavior is reproducible in vanilla. 🙂
