[MC-239780] There is keyboard lag when ever I move and jump. When I press my forward key it has a 3 seconds delay but after I let go of my key my character keeps moving for a minute.

There would be a 3 seconds delay whenever I move. Then it would keep moving for a minute.

This seems to be a driver/software issue, and not a bug with Minecraft.

Yes, most likely your computer is not very powerful. The solution to the problem: a new computer or better drivers (as mentioned in the comment above).
