I'm not sure whether this counts as a "bug" or not, but I decided I should at least try to report this issue here so it is known.
When attempting to launch Minecraft: Java Edition (via the new launcher), when the game is close to loading up, my computer shows an error screen and is then forced to reboot to fix whatever caused it.
I contacted Windows support about this and they gave me steps to try and fix this, which ultimately failed. Also, when I was talking to them, they mentioned this could be caused by a "compatibility issue."
I re-downloaded the legacy browser for Windows 7/8, and it works fine and launches the game without crashing my computer.
I'm not sure why this is happening, as the first few times I launched Minecraft: JE with the new launcher it worked fine without issue.
