Never mind about this bug report. For some reason, when I had the chat set to another setting, it was as if the launcher couldn't handle it and just crashed my game every time I typed something. But I changed the settings and thankfully I don't ever use the chat setting that kept crashing my game so it's all good.
Based on a crash report provided in this issue, I believe with high certainty that this report may be a duplicate of MC-20163. You can view all information known about this specific crash at MCX-878.
