[MC-242349] Iron golem creation can only be spawned by villagers/commands and not by the player

Placing a Carved Pumpkin/ Jack o'Lantern on 4 Iron Blocks doesn't summon an Iron Golem in survival or creative mode in 1.18 pre release 5. Iron Golems however can be summoned through commands or by villagers, but not by placing blocks. This does not affect Snow Golems

If the snow golem is not affected, then there must be grass or other blocks around the iron block when you summon the iron golem...

Can't confirm this. You probably tested it with transparent blocks under the armpits. That does not work in general.

It turns out I'm an idiot and there was grass under the iron blocks, this bug doesn't exist
