Serious lag on my 1.16.3 creative world converted to the new 1.18 rc1.. Crashing and lag often. I have a high end pc and everything is fine in previous versions..
and when killing myself to get to world spawn it won’t let me die..

However, this issue is Invalid.
Performance drops are expected to happen between versions. Simply stating that "My game is laggier" is not helpful for Mojang to diagnose your issue. If you can pinpoint a specific cause when lag happens for you, please open a new report for that specific issue.
