Amethyst Geodes's smooth basalts are mostly either small or misoriented

I tried searching this bug on this page but there weren't, so I hope this is not a duplicate.

Please look at the pictures. smooth basalts are few blocks miscentered or too small so that inner parts are reveiled. I cannot explain this better than this.
