I got diamonds and I wanted to frame them into an item frame. I went to my workbench and I made the crafting recipe. I got no item frames. I expected to be able to craft an item frame, but I don't know why I'm not able.

I see you are using a texture pack, I guess it is not up to date with minecraft 1.4.2
The item is probably there but invisible.
Do you have any mods installed that might conflict with it?
