Hello I recently got a new computer and I got minecraft for it. Playing 1.18.1As the summary says the attack destroy button on my mouse isnt working. its a new mouse its drivers and software are current. Ive tried using a different mouse and the problem remains Ive double checked the key binds uninstalled and reinstalled minecraft and its still not working. Ive loaded old worlds and its an issue, and Ive started new worlds and the issue remains. I dont play on multi player servers so only single player world is affected

Was there a fix for this? I have had this happen within the last hour. Running the same game mode (1.18.1) Single Player. Really hopping there is.
Fix: With the help of the community. When making changes always make sure MC is not open.
Reset the .minecraft folder by renaming it. (.minecraftold)
Run the latest version of Minecraft.
Check see if issue is fixed, If not go back to the original .minecraftold folder you renamed.
Change it back to .minecraft
Run MC see if problem is fixed.
If still encountering the issue uninstall and reinstall the latest version of java.
Currently experiencing the same issue running 1.18.1 via MultiMC (all mods disabled) on Ubuntu and home MC server. e.g. Animation of pick to break blocks occurs only once.
Right mouse action to place torches is not working either, but bow and rocket (to launch) is. Rocket right click against a block doesn't work.
Local single player world attack work as expected.
