Invalid player data error screen will always lead the player to the multiplayer menu

Due to the occasional file corruption, even in single player, you may get an error message saying invalid player data, but it will try to bring you back to the multiplayer menu regardless of whether you are in singleplayer or multiplayer.

I didn't think MC-45602 was exactly the same, please correct me if it's a duplicate.

I think it's the same core issue, so it may duplicate MC-45602

it happened to me once
i tried to join a world and i got this, and i relaunched mc and that didn't fix it
i tried duping the world and deleting the old one but it happened again on the new world and then the new world disappeared
it's not even in the saves folder
plz help
also i have a friend who this is happening to who is in 1.19

Issue is back in 1.18.2, at least for modded; I just made a pack, and when attempting to create and load into a new world, I got this response as well.

I'm having this issue, but i logged out of my singleplayer world while it was in LAN world mode. i either get Invalid player data while trying to get back in orΒ  an error "Java.lang-" i don't remember this rest unfortunately.

Duplicating the world: Invalid player data.
New world, same seed: Invalid player data.
New world, different seed: works fine.
