[MC-248338] Wither Boss Get's stuck in the air

So I spawned the wither, and forgot to set my spawn so I flew away with my elytra to place a bed at my nether portal. I did that but when I came back the wither was flying around really high up, because it chased me up there and it won't come down. It also regenerates too fast to kill because it is too hard to kill it by flying into it with sword because it's out of bow range

I also had this problem! Had to leave the area to get more fireworks and repair my elytra. This is how high up it was when I came back but it was nearer to y level 1400 when I left. Makes it really difficult to fight especially when arrows aren't an option.
