Hi folks,
In May 2019 I've created a Minecraft: Pocket Edition world on my Apple iPad (5th generation) and yesterday on the 1st February 2022 I decided to convert the Pocket Edition world to a Java Edition world. But when I'm currently playing inside my new Minecraft world, the new chunks after X/Z=500 aren't generating anymore on Y=4, they're generating on Y=-60. Is this a bug and if yes, can you please fix it? I saw that this very ****** issue is also occurring on 22w03a, but not on 1.17.1 and below...
Sincerely yours,
Mika Kreis 😊

This is expected behavior as conversions between Java and Bedrock (Pocket) Edition are not supported. Your world is generating new chunks at the expected level as if you generated a super flat in 1.18 where chunks generate at -60 unless you created your world pre-1.18. Java Edition cannot tell that your world was generated before 1.18. This ticket is thus invalid as world conversion is not a supported feature.
