Appears to be a bug where Mojang doesn't address current bugs relating to text in game.
Has been several updates and these bugs haven't been resolved or even assigned to someone to address.
What I expected to happen was...
Mojang would receive the bug reports, see how critical
they are to game play, assign them to a developer to resolve who would then address the issue and release the fix in the next update.
What actually happened was...:
Nothing.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Pay good money for a Realm so that you can play cooperatively with your friends.
2. Attempt to communicate with your friends to produce 'fun'.
3. Fail.
4. Vote for related bugs and try to draw attention to them with comments and tweeting Mojang staff.
5. Fail.
6. Make new bug report because, who knows, maybe that will help.
PLEASE PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS MOJANG.
