In a deep dark biome, there was a sculk sensor right next to a sculk shrieker. The sensor activated, but it did not activate the shrieker.

Something to note which I said in my post MC-249113, even with a silk touch tool, such as a silk touch hoe, the skulk shrieker doesn't drop the item or experience. It just drops nothing.
