Entities that spawn in custom structures will have any equipment they have replaced with their natural equipment. For example, if I save a structure that contains a vindicator with an enchanted netherite sword, the vindicator will instead have an unenchanted iron axe whenever the structure spawns in custom generation when instead the weapon should match the one that was saved.

Hi! I agree that this relates to MC-124435, however I could not reproduce this bug in the latest snapshot (23w43b). See

Your video just shows you loading it via another structure block, however, the description states "whenever the structure spawns in custom generation"; that's not the same thing.
This is the same as MC-253029, which is more comprehensive and has a data pack attached. I'll add vindicators to the list of affected mobs in that ticket.
