growing trees with /placefeature on mud turns mud to dirt

This is because the given dirt is part of the tree feature, and I'm pretty sure this is intended. If you were to run the "/placefeature" command in the air to place a tree, you will notice that dirt is also placed alongside it. I can confirm this, nonetheless.
