i have no idea what was happening maybe just a rendering issue but idk

i was playing my survival world in 22w16b and then i dug down because it looked like the trees where clear and i could see right through the world and then it was like i was covered in barrier blocks but i could break them and there was another world underneath me and the more i went down and broke blocks some blocks would become unrendered and some would become rendered
