What I expected to happen was...:
My username showed up in chat with what I typed in.
What actually happened was...:
The game crashed when on multiplayer. On single player it just says "Cannot send chat message"

@Mustek, I added a crash report. I do not think this is a duplicate because [MC-20163] crashes when you log on to a server, and I just crash when I talk in chat.
Incomplete without crash report.
Please attach crash reports in the future to tickets about a crash.
Also, possible duplicate of [MC-20163]
