[MC-25150] Item action is not cancelled when Esc menu is opened

Opening the Esc menu or the inventory will fire your bow if you were pulling it back.

1. Select a bow on your hotbar
2. Pull back bow string (Hold right click)
3. Press Esc
4. Arrow will fire

This is because you are playing on a multiplayer server. The server does not stop when you press escape. Only in singleplayer does the arrow stop when you escape.

This site is for bug reports only. Feature and improvement suggestions are not currently being tracked here. Pressing escape stops pressing the right-click button, and therefore, the bow shoots.
