Chat doesn't hold open

I'm unable to reproduce this behavior in both 1.18.2 and 22w19a. Could you provide some attachments of this occurring whilst the F3 debug screen is enabled?

i'll post a short video asap, basically as long as i keep pressed T, the chat remains open, as soon as i left the key, it closes, entering the command or the message

Edit: noticed it happens when i switch key binding
