[MC-25181] L shift ( or anythinf else!) won't work to dismount horse. have rebooted, still no luck. 1.6.2. has not resolved the problem

happened in creative, then i went to another world and tried it in survival. same problem. L shift does not work to dismount horse. It will do damage to anythng in range and handling any item is no problem. I just cannot get Off!!! Help please!!

Unable to reproduce. I have tested this in singleplayer, multiplayer, creative and survival.

Here are the controls I am using, I believe the problem is that you don't have L Shift set as your control.
